Final year project writing

Your final year project has to follow a structure your department expects, use sources that actually exist, and hold up when your supervisor asks you questions about it. This is chapter-by-chapter help built around your specific topic and department, not a generic template with your name swapped in.

Common questions

Questions students ask

How does the process actually work?
You send your topic, department, and school on WhatsApp. If you already have an approved topic, work starts on chapter one. If you don't, topic selection comes first. Chapters are shared as they're finished so you can read them and flag anything before the next one starts.
Can you follow my specific department's format?
Yes. Formatting requirements differ by department and sometimes by faculty: margin sizes, heading styles, reference style. Send your department's project guideline if you have one, and it gets matched exactly.
What if my supervisor sends corrections after?
Corrections are handled as part of the service. Send what your supervisor marked and it gets addressed directly, not rewritten from scratch unless the correction actually calls for that.
Will I understand my own project well enough to defend it?
That's the point of doing this chapter by chapter instead of all at once. You see the reasoning behind each section as it's built, which matters more than the finished document once you're standing in front of a panel.
